How many processed foods do you eat a day?


All the best books out there on nutrition, diet, health and so forth are asking us to limit or remove the processed foods from out diet and eat more fresh fruits and vegetables. Try slowly removing or reducing some of the processed foods out of your diet and replacing them with fresh foods. See how you feel over time, I bet you will start feeling better, have more energy and a better sense of well being. You will not know until you try.

So pick up a good book or two and take another step towards good health.

What is your favorite grocery store?


Why do you prefer shopping there? Convenience, selection, quality, price? Do you frequent more than one grocery store? Many people these days regularly shop at more than one grocery store. In addition to their regular grocery store they also shop a health food type grocery store that carries a much better quality selection of meats, dairy and produce. You will most likely pay a little more, but sometimes you will be surprised and pay less for better quality. Shop around and compare, it will take some extra time but in the end it's your families health thats on the table.

Whats on your ToDo list?

Do you keep your ToDo list on paper or in your head? Do you keep a ToDo list at all? A todo list is basically a mini goals list that you write down in one form or another. Its better to write it down over keeping it in your head. It will remind you what you have to get done and help you not to forget those important things. You will be more productive and achieve your goals much quicker just by keeping one. Some people take it further and use planner and electronic devices such as palm pilots and computer software like Franklin Covey's Plan Pro Plus. There are a plethora of resources all over the internet and in books if you want to take it up a notch. Yahoo has a great calendar with email, cell phone and pager reminders all for free.

Baby Steps - Are you willing to change your life for the better?

Most all of us want to change our lives for the better. But how many of us are willing to do it? Are you kind of comfortable and really don't want to change because you feel it will be uncomfortable to change and get to that place you want to be? It doesn't have to be that way. It's how you picture it and feel it in your mind. We all have the ability to become better, it our nature to better ourselves. All it takes is to point yourself in that direction and start taking baby steps. Before you know it you will no longer be where you started. Then again as time goes by with some more baby steps towards you goal you will arrive there with less effort and less discomfort than you initially were thinking. Its all in the baby steps.
